About Msc Clinical Psychology

The M.Sc Clinical Psychology program offers a comprehensive blend of academic learning and hands-on clinical experience, uniquely strengthened by the department’s close association with our own psychiatric hospital. This direct exposure allows students to engage in real-world clinical settings from early in their training, working with diverse clients under professional supervision. The curriculum emphasizes psychological assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation, integrating theory with daily clinical practice. Students participate in case discussions, interdisciplinary team meetings, and mental health outreach programs, gaining valuable insight into the functioning of hospital-based mental health services. This practical and immersive approach ensures that graduates are not only academically competent but also clinically confident, empathetic, and well-prepared for professional practice or advanced training in clinical psychology.

About BSC

Eligibility for Admission

  • This course is open only for candidates who have completed a full-time, regular B.A./B.Sc. Degree with Psychology as one of the optional subjects.
  • A minimum of 50% marks in Psychology and an aggregate of 50% or more in the degree program are required to apply for the course.
  • Admissions are made by a selection committee including clinical psychology faculty, based on graduate marks/grades and an entrance examination consisting of a written test and interview.
  • Selected candidates shall be admitted for the M.Sc. Clinical Psychology course only after producing the eligibility certificate issued by the university.

  • Bring all originals (10th, UG, PG mark cards, Aadhaar, and other documents) during the Entrance Exam for verification.
