Message from Principal

The Department of Clinical Psychology is a unit of Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institute of Allied Health Sciences. It is an educational unit established by Manasa Trust, a pioneer in the field of Mental Health. The Department initiated its academic programmes with the inception of the M.Sc Clinical Psychology course approved by the Government of Karnataka and affiliated to RGUHS. This was followed by the starting of the M.Phil in Clinical Psychology course approved by RCI and affiliated to RGUHS. Both courses have been running successfully with experienced faculty, availability of infrastructure and excellent facilities for blending academics with clinical exposure. The Department is unique in providing hands on training to students who have achieved distinction at the exenations. It has the right ambience for students who are dedicated to the cause of Mental Health.
