Second year MSc Clinical Psychology students embarked on a transformative 3-week internship at AIISH, an esteemed institution revered for its contributions to human resource development, research, and clinical care in communication disorders. Throughout this immersive experience, they were immersed in a dynamic learning environment, rotating through departments such as psychological assessment, intervention, and outpatient care. Daily group discussions served as intellectual hubs, fostering nuanced discussions and deepening their understanding of theoretical frameworks and their practical implications. Discover, Learn, Thrive : AIISH Internship- In the Outpatient department, they refined their diagnostic skills through meticulous case history taking and observed the intricacies of computerized mental status examinations, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client assessment. Their tenure in the psychological assessment department provided invaluable opportunities to conduct assessments, analyze data, and gain insights into developmental trajectories and the complexities of disability certification process.

Transitioning to the intervention department, they progressed from passive observation to actively facilitating one-to-one sessions under expert supervision, applying behavior modification techniques with finesse and precision.
