On February 24, 2024, Voice That Cares conducted an online workshop focusing on Psychological First Aid (PFA) for First Year MSc Clinical Psychology Students. The workshop aimed to educate and train  participants on the significance of PFA, its objectives, and practical techniques for providing support to people in distress as Psychological first Aid. Mr. Harish started the workshop by introducing the concept of Psychological First Aid (PFA). Ms. Bhavani led the session on the RAPID Model for healing psychological wounds. She elaborated on the significance of the OARS technique, stressed on the importance of employing open-ended questions, practicing reflective listening, and adhering to the golden rules while interacting with callers. There were practical demos as well as group discussions to help trainees to gain confidence. At the end of the training they were encouraged to volunteer to take Internship under a mentor.
