On June 6th and 7th, 2024, the Ethics Committee convened at Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institute of Allied Health Sciences to review the research synopsis of 1st year M.Sc. and MPhil students. The Ethics Committee, consisting of senior professionals, provided valuable suggestions, and identified necessary modifications to enhance the quality of research. Their feedback focused on key areas that require improvement to ensure the research adheres to high ethical standards and scientific rigor. The committee’s insights and recommendations were immensely beneficial, offering a significant learning opportunity for the students.
ORIENTATION TO HELINET
The HELINET Digital Library Orientation Program, conducted by Mr. Ganesha H, Librarian, on June 13th, 2024, was a comprehensive introduction to the RGUHS Digital Library’s offerings. Established in 2003, the HELINET consortium provides access to over 7,000 international medical e-journals, e-books, databases, and digitized course materials. Mr. Ganesha skilfully oriented I and II year M.Sc students and M.Phil trainees, guiding them through the platform’s extensive resources. His session was instrumental in helping students navigate the digital library effectively. The program emphasized on the cost-effective and seamless access to crucial academic resources. Overall, the orientation was well-received and highly informative.
