On March 30th, 2024, an engaging Art Therapy session as a part of the Club Activity was hosted by Akanksha M S, Isha Jain, Pranamya G R, and Sandhiya G. Commencing with an overview of art therapy, participants were briefed on the upcoming activity. Subsequently, the participants utilized art as a means to express their thoughts and emotions, unveiling unresolved issues in the process. The atmosphere was vibrant as participants relished the experience. Following the art session, each participant shared their experience during the art therapy and what made them use the respective colours in their art, fostering introspection. The event concluded with an exploration of the history and development of art therapy and colour psychology and a reflection on the merits and critiques of art therapy techniques. Isha tried to bring in a link between the art and the personality of the artist. She made an effort to interpret each art and the meaning of the dominant colours that had used. It was an eye opener to both the Artists as well as the observers.
