Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institute of Allied Health Sciences, in collaboration with Shivamogga District Police, organized an Awareness program on the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. The Chief Guest was Smt. Komala, SubInspector of the Jayanagar Police Station, Shivamogga, Guest of Honour Dr. Rajani Pai , Director Manasa Trust, President Dr. Pushpalatha G, Principal KAPMIAHS. The program featured an awareness session on illicit trafficking and the consequences of drug abuse. Under Smt. Komala’s guidance, participants took an oath to combat drug abuse, and a documentary highlighting the adverse effects of drugs  on public health was presented.
