As a first-year MSc Clinical Psychology student at KAPMIAHS, my academic journey so far has been both rigorous and rewarding. The program provides a strong blend of theoretical knowledge and clinical application, with subjects like Psychopathology, Therapeutic Interventions, and Psychological Assessments being taught in depth. We have access to a well-equipped library, e-library, and HELINET resources that greatly support our academic needs. Clinical exposure begins early in the first year through postings at Manasa Nursing Home and Manaspoorthi, offering valuable hands-on experience. In the second year, we gain further exposure through institutions like Manasadara and Mukunda, along with opportunities for external internships that broaden our practical understanding. The faculty are experienced, knowledgeable, and approachable, ensuring we receive personalized academic and clinical guidance.
