A 2-day workshop on “Counselling Skills” was organised by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara College, Department of PG Psychology and Research, Ujire in collaboration with Kateel Ashok Pai Memorial Institute, Shivamogga on March 18 and 19,2024 in Ujire. The resource persons were Hani Kuruvari and Ananya S.M Assistant Professor Department of Psychology KAPMI. Shivamogga  The workshop covered various topics such as basic skills in Counselling, the importance of  relationship between the client and the counsellor and the steps involved in the process of   counselling. The  main focus of the workshop  was to make it more practical  -how a counselling session can be conducted how it can aid individuals dealing with mental health issues and its importance for the betterment of oneself. The event was graced by Dr Vandana Jain, HOD Psychology, SDM College, Ujire.
